Documents
Find, view, and download public documents shared by the board.
Overview
The Documents page shows files the board has marked public. Residents can search, filter by category, view files in a new tab, or download them.
Board-only documents are never shown in the resident portal.
What Documents Can Include
Depending on what the board uploads and shares, residents may see:
- Governing documents
- Rules and regulations
- Meeting materials
- Forms
- Notices
- Financial summaries
- Architectural guidelines
- Community policies
Documents are grouped by board-assigned category.
Search and Filters
Residents can search by document name or category. If multiple categories exist, category pills appear so residents can narrow the list.
The page initially loads a limited number of documents and includes a load-more action for larger libraries.
Viewing and Downloading
Each document card includes:
- File name
- File type
- Category
- Upload date
- File size when available
- View action
- Save action
Both View and Save request a signed download URL. Signed URLs expire, which protects the underlying storage path.
File Types
The document UI recognizes common file types:

| Other | Any supported file that does not match the common groups |
Why a Document Might Be Missing
A document may not appear because:
- The board has not uploaded it
- The document is board-only
- The document was deleted
- The category/search filter is hiding it
- The resident is signed into the wrong community account
Message the board if a file should be available but is not listed.
